DESIGN SERVICE FEES

As a travel designer, I understand that travel planning is an exciting but very complex often overwhelming process!

To start the planning process I charge a non-refundable fee of $150 payable prior to our 30 minute planning appointment. Should you proceed and pay in full this fee will be deducted from my design service fee which is set out below. Should you not proceed the $150 remains non-refundable. Please refer to my terms of service for my full cancellation and refund policy.

After our 30 minute planning appointment the following design service fees are payable which covers personalised itinerary planning, destination research, booking assistance, and tailored recommendations to create a seamless and memorable travel experience.

The planning process typically takes around 1-2 weeks, depending on the complexity of the itinerary and the specific requirements of your trip. Here are some examples of how long travel planning might take based on different trip types:

1. Weekend Getaway: 1-2 days to plan a simple, short trip with minimal bookings (a hotel and one activity).

2. Domestic Vacation (1 week): 3-5 days to design a trip involving flights, accommodations, transportation, and a few local tours or activities.

3. International Trip (2 weeks): 1-2 weeks to plan, covering flights, hotels, visa requirements, transportation, tours, activities, and dining reservations.

4. Complex Multi-City or Multi-Country Trip: 2-3 weeks or more, depending on the number of destinations, logistics coordination, and customisation needed.

The timeframe also depends on how quickly your preferences and decisions are communicated to me.

My rates for travel design vary depending on the complexity of the trip:

1. Basic Itinerary (Weekend Getaway): $150 – Includes destination research, hotel and activity recommendations, and a simple itinerary.

2. Standard Itinerary (Domestic Vacation, 1 week): $250 – Covers flight and accommodation bookings, transportation coordination, activity recommendations, and a detailed daily itinerary.

3. Premium Itinerary (International or Multi-City Trip): $350 – Includes detailed itinerary planning, visa assistance, multiple destination coordination, flights, hotels, ground transport and activity bookings.

4. Custom Complex Trips (Multi-Country or Special Events): Starting at $500 – For highly customised trips with multiple destinations, complex logistics, or special event planning.

These rates reflect my commitment to crafting personalised, seamless travel experiences just for you.

In addition, I offer trip revisions to ensure your itinerary is perfect once a proposal has been provided. Here’s how it works:

1. Basic Itinerary: Includes up to 2 complimentary revision once you receive the proposal.

2. Standard and Premium Itinerary: Includes up to 5 complimentary revisions once you received the proposal.

3. Custom Complex Trips: Includes up to 10 complimentary revisions once you receive the proposal.

Additional revisions can be made for a small fee of $50 per revision, depending on the scope of changes. My goal is to ensure your trip is tailored exactly to your needs and preferences!

Once a proposal has been approved by you a quote will be provided to you if you require further revisions and is subject to supplier terms and conditions.
